This is very generous on the part of the developers, and as such I highly recommend that some purchase, however small, should be made to enable the continuation of this game to be made. Another great element is that this is not a pay to win, persistence and commitment affords one a great time, without necessarily paying for success. I have been playing this for a couple of years now, and the constant introduction of new content has kept it fresh and engaging. The game is designed for the PC and to be running in the background, in which you can level up and idle whenever you want. You gain gold offline, but it's negligible.

The problem with that is, the PS4 can't multi task so it takes forefront. The game itself is great, but in order to idle, the game has to be running like it does on the PC. I'm not sure, but they didn't ask they just resolved it. In hindsight, I may have accidentally held the button to close it instead of start the adventure. I sent a message through the in game browser, and they got back to me the next morning and re-opened it, no questions asked.
I had a time-gate somehow close as soon as opened it. Twice I've contacted the devs and they are always responsive.
